Sooo I went Norfolk, Nebraska over the weekend for an estate sell. The goal of the weekend was to leave with the 32 three window. However, the phone bidder in Wa. state wanted it more. so we settled for a truck load of cool crap.
1980 FLH smooth lower leg with PM6 piston. I had already welded up the original mounts for the "banana" caliper and machined the new mounting surface. thu-bolts won't work because of the silly rotor, so flush steel inserts were in order. For you to compare.... smooth shaved legs and one not I don't have a live center for my lathe soooo I went old school on the material removal two legs with fender mounts that will never be used again.
well.... after getting the bike all ready to go to paint once, I decided that I just didn't like it much. Soooo here is Version 2.1 it's new it's improved AND thank god it's going to paint this week.....woot woot!
